Executive Coaching

Executive coaching is one of the most effective ways for individuals to 'up their game' - whatever that means. By intentionally carving out space to think in a confidential setting, either in-person or online, it offers professionals the opportunity to ask themselves the questions that really matter, rethink strategies, overcome immunity to change, and design and execute action plans to achieve their goals.
The coaching agenda and goals are established through a process of co-creation. They are revisited throughout the coaching programme; our thought partnership and the process of challenging and incremental change means that coachees increase their agility and adaptability to change as new priorities surface.

Initial meeting

To find out whether the coachee and I would work well together. We look briefly at their life story so far, talk through where they are in and outside of work at present, and explore the agenda for change and broad coaching goals (the 'what' and the 'why now?').

3-Way meeting

Between the coachee, the organisation (usually Head of L&D or similar) and me, to align expectations, talk about what success looks like, discuss whether stakeholder feedback and/or work shadowing is required, and understand what internal support the coachee will need for their change journey.

Assessments and the rest

Should the coachee and I deem it of value, the coachee does a psychometric/diagnostic assessment. I am a certified VoicePrint and EQ-i 2.0 practitioner. These tools can be key in raising self-awareness and understanding impact. We then work through the programme according to the coaching agenda and goals established, whilst 'holding them lightly', adapting as required.

Systemic Team Coaching (STC)

Caught up in BAU, it is easy for teams to get bogged down in being mindlessly busy instead of purposefully productive. Crucially, teams need to learn and evolve at a pace which is faster than the one at which the world around them is changing.
Systemic team coaching is the process of turning teams of leaders into leadership teams! It involves working with teams over a period of time to increase their collective intelligence, agility and resilience; to work in service of a shared purpose; and to move as one - both when team members are together and when they are apart. Diversity of thought is encouraged and teams get to a place of understanding that differences are likely to lead to tension and a healthy degree of conflict. This is not something we should be looking to avoid! Systemic team coaching, therefore, works on expanding teams' collective capacity to create safety and manage systemic conflict productively.

Real time and behaviourally transformative

STC is based on real, current challenges that need timely resolution. They don't just lead to new insights and good intentions, but to new actions; change takes place live in the coaching sessions.

Relational and collaborative

Professionals learn alongside those with whom they work on a daily basis, highlighting not just changes in individuals, but also in relationships ('the spaces between').

STC involves the voices, challenges, and requests of employees, clients, investors, regulators and suppliers - as well as anyone else who makes up the wider business ecosystem of which the team and the organisation form part.

Facilitation

I work with forward-thinking businesses to retain and progress talent, create positive workplace cultures, and increase organisational effectiveness. I design and facilitate workshops focused on increasing performance and value-creation through human connection and emotional intelligence. I am particularly interested in developing inclusive, people-first managers and leaders and believe they are the future of the world of work.
